Q:How do you update the firmware?
A: Hello from Binize, this carplay box for Tesla support OTA upgrade, the box needs to be connected to an external hotspot network, which is necessary to update the system online).
After retrieving the new installation package, click Download. After downloading the package, click Update to install it. After the installation is complete, the system will automatically restart.
Q:Does this affect the original Tesla software in any way in case you want to occasionally switch back?

A: Hello from Binize, the box for 2022 Tesla model Y only support to add wireless CarPlay and Android AUTO feature to your car, if you want to watch a video, you can use the video app that comes with the original car when you park it
Q:Does request wifi to be activated by Tesla?
A: Hello from Binize, generally, it is not needed, but in the case of unstable connection, it needs to occupy the WiFi channel.
Q:How do i turn this off? the usbs seem to be on until my car goes to sleep and my phone is constantly connecting to the device for calls and audio?
A:Hello from Binize, In fact, as long as the car is powered off, our products will follow the power outage. It's just that Tesla model have the function of delaying the power outage. Even if the engine is turned off, it will take a period of time before the power outage is really turned off.
So if you want to disconnect your phone from the device after you leave the car, just turn off your phone's hotspot and Bluetooth.
Q:How to update?
A: Hello from Binize, this box do support upgrade online. After your box is turned on properly, open the aicarpush page in your browser, click the settings button in the upper right corner in the shape of a gear, click System, click System Information, and check for updates.
Q:Does it support EQ adjust?
A: Hello from Binize, this carplay box do support EQ setting, this is where our boxes are different from other brands, click the settings button in the upper right corner in the shape of a gear, it will have an option for Audio, get into that page, you will be able to change your music style.
