Why car radio changes stations by itself?
When your mobile phone is out of power or you often have to answer the phone, you may miss the right intersection or exit while driving. Therefore, many cars have their own or installed on-board navigation systems. Since it is an electronic device, there is always a possibility of malfunction. Then how to check and eliminate it?
Any navigation function needs the support of GPS. Whether it is original or aftermarket, the arrow symbol "positioning" will always appear when working. First of all, it is necessary to rule out whether the signal in the area is weak, and you can make a judgment by looking at the signal of the mobile phone; If you find that the mobile phone signal is relatively strong, but the built-in positioning of the car cannot be used, check whether there is any electronic source on the car that interferes with it.
All electronic devices have limited-service life, just like your smart phone. After several months using, the electronic device will always be laggy more or less. The normal service life of a high-end brand (more than$1000) level is about three years, and the normal service life of an ordinary brand (more than $100) level will not exceed two years. What you need to do is updating the system by the manufacturers.
One of the things we have to mention here is the screen problem, because with the development of In-vehicle technology, Tesla style head unit with big touch screen car stereos are becoming more and more popular. The larger the screen specification, the higher the technical requirements of the manufacturer.
Why car radio changes stations by itself?
The reasons for this problem are as follows:
- The Tesla style head unittouch screen is extremely afraid of static electricity: it is easy to break down the capacitive screen. Although the glass on the surface of the car navigation touch screen has undergone a certain anti-static treatment, it does not mean that it can resist the static electricity of the human body in winter.
- The Tesla style head unittouch screen is afraid of conductive media such as oil and sweat: A conductive layer will form when covering the screen, which will cause the screen to drift. Wash your hands and wipe them dry before using.
- The Tesla style head unittouch screen is afraid of "high" temperature: the "high" temperature here is not to use fire to roast, but to reach a temperature of about 104°F, which may cause the capacitive screen to drift. At this temperature for a long time, the capacitive screen will meet something wrong, don’t keep using it for a long time in the hot sunlight.
- The Tesla style head unittouch screens are afraid of magnetic fields: especially electromagnetic fields. Put a small magnet on the capacitive screen for a while, and the capacitive screen will temporarily lose control.
Correction method:
- Find the RST (restore factory settings) button on the panel, which is a small built-in button, which can be found on the left-upper corner of the car stereo. All GPS navigators have this button (used after crash).
- After pressing the button to restart, check whether the screen responds. If there is a response, take the time to calibrate the screen in the settings, and it will be fine after calibration.
- Binize Touch Screen calibration steps (T3 Android system only):
- Create an empty folder named "NWDTP" in your USB (make sure it's an empty folder)
- Plug the USB into the stereo.
- The calibration will show on your screen.
- Follow the steps on the screen to calibrate.
- Click Touch Study then follow the steps.
- The calibration was done.
- Note: If the screen can't response, then connect an external keyboard to finish this
